QNB announces its Platinum Sponsorship of The 2015 WFE General Assembly & Annual Meeting

Doha, 20 October – QNB, The leading financial institution in the Middle East and North Africa , has announced its Platinum sponsorship of The 2015 World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) General Assembly & Annual Meeting, which is held under the patronage of H.E Sheikh Ahmed Bin Jassim Bin Mohammad Al-Thani, Minister of Economy and Commerce and hosted by Qatar Stock Exchange from 19-21 October at Marsa Malaz Kempinski Hotel at Doha, Qatar.

The event, which will be held for the first time in Qatar and the region, will be attended by prominent Chairmen, Chief Executives from global exchanges and other representatives of member exchanges, regulatory agencies and authorities worldwide, as well as senior officials from Ministry of Economy and Commerce and Qatar Exchange.

Key topics to be debated at this year’s meeting will include SME funding, progress on the G20 financial reform agenda, developments in derivative and commodity markets, evolving market structures and trends in risk management, compliance and governance.
