Padel and football tournaments across the multiple activities, QNB celebrates National Sport Day with a full day of activities for staff

QNB Group, one of the largest financial institutions in the Middle East and Africa, have celebrated Qatar National Sport Day with a special programme including a padel tournament and a football match for its employees, in addition to a number of fun activities for their families. 
The event comes in line with the Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives to improve the general health and wellbeing of the residents of Qatar which in turn aligns with Qatar’s vision 2030. The Group’s celebration also emphasizes its keenness to have an active role in presenting itself within the sport sphere, and to highlight the importance of sports to its employees through the various entertaining games and competitions.  
This celebration also comes as a clear indication of the efforts that the Group put to engage with its employees in an atmosphere of joy and delight, emphasizing the importance of adopting a healthier and more active lifestyle. Taking place at the Sports Dome in Gharafa, the event included a padel tournament that was organized for both male and female employees across different courts, while a football match was organized for the male employees with multiple valuable prizes for the winning teams. 
The event, which lasted all day on Tuesday, included many exciting activities for the employees and their families to enjoy, including competitive games like tug of war, sack race and egg and spoon race and much more. Special competitions were also curated for the kids like a football game, with giveaways for all the visitors.
